Advertising Technique - Peer Approval

Another advertising technique is Peer Approval. Peer approval is when advertisers make their product come across as something that everyone will respect you for owning they can also make it seem so that if you dont own it everyone will disrespect you. This is done by just creating an advert that shows a certain product as influencing the way people act around the person using it.

An example of Peer Approval is the First Choice advert

This Advert uses the peer approval technique very well to suggest that if you book your holiday with First Choice then you will have a much better time and everyone will like you and treat you well because you booked with them. This advert does this by showing the family going on holiday and being treated as though they are famous.
